Welcome to the Sugaridoo Advent quilt along 2024. I’m so happy and excited that you’re here. Over the next 24 day we will be sewing together on our wonderful Christmas/Winter project.
24 packages
You advent calendar will include 24 packages. They are numbered. Some numbers, as 1 and 7, do look alike. In the image below you see the numbers to 10 to check you’re opening the correct one each day ;)
Extra gift
Some of you added an extra gift to the advent calendar. You can open that on on Christmas eve, it does not contain something that you need for the project.
One or Two
There are enough materials in your Advent Calendar to make the project two times. You can choose weather you want to make two projects right away, or just make one and safe the materials to add anothe one later.

Tomorrow we will start working on our advent project. Today you can get your machine ready, maybe give it a clean, and a fresh needle. For tomorrow you will need a pen or pencil and a ruler. See you then!

I’m so happy, that the adventcalendar starts today. Unfortunately I can’t display it this year, because our new dog chews on everything for the moment, but it will still be fun to search for the right day in the box. 😊

Little pup is already 4 years old and we are at least the 4th family she’s been to. Therefor she has a little separation anxiety, but I’m sure for next year, that will be better and I can put it on display again. 😄

Finally got to open the first surprise. From the contents my guess would be that we’re going to be doing a bit of sewing.

Just opened my first bag and dusted off my mother in law Elsie’s old Bernina. Merry Christmas everyone🎄.
Those old, heavy sewing machines❤️ Often they will last for generations! I have a very old Lewenstein which still runs perfectly.
