Advent Calendar 2026
For the fourth year in a row we are going to sew together during December. I’m so thrilled to announce this year’s calendar! I’ll share as much as I can with you about the 2026 Sugaridoo Advent Calendar. What we will be making exactly will stay a surprise until just before Christmas!
In short: What is Sugaridoo Advent?
The Sugaridoo Advent Calendar includes 24 gifts. In these gifts you will find all the fabrics and material needed to complete the project. Plus extra notions, the patterns (both printed and digital), extra gifts and treats. Every day you open a gift and discover the next part of the project.
In the online community you will find a daily video to make our project together. We will use Foundation Paper Piecing as our main technique (you don’t need to be an expert, I’ll guide you!).
The Project
Advent 2026 is going to be a special one! We’re going to make something that you can leave out on display throughout the whole year! The Advent 2026 logo at the top of this page gives you a hint about the colors we’ll be using this year.
Here’s what to expect:
- The project is made with Foundation Paper Piecing. You don’t need to have much experience, it is suitable for complete beginners as well!
- It will be a mystery what the finished project will be, you will find out along the way.
- Slow paced so you can actually finish! We will be sewing a tiny part of the project almost every day. You can choose to save them and sew a few sections every few days.
Look at the packaging!
Something very exciting this year is the packaging. You will receive some gift bags like previous years, but also a real Advent calendar with little drawers for you to open each day.
This special packaging does mean that it’s really a limited edition this year. We won’t be able to assemble more calendars once this batch sells out.
Online Community
As part of the Advent calendar you will get access to the online community. A place where you can watch the daily videos and blogs, where you can ask questions, share your progress and download the patterns.
Extra gift
This year there is also an extra gift available to add to your calendar. This extra gift is a little project in itself. You can put it under the tree with your name on it, or gift it to a quilting friend. When you order multiple gifts (max 4 per person) you will receive different colors.
At your own pace
Even though the project is scheduled over 24 days, starting December 1st, you can complete it at your own pace. All the videos and online materials will stay available to you forever. Well for as long as I’m running Sugaridoo, which will hopefully be forever ;)
If you’re falling behind, no need to rush, just pick up the project when you are ready for it!
Shipping
The Advent Calendar ships worldwide. The calendars will ship in batches during September/October.
The shipping costs per destination:
- Netherlands: €5
- Most of Europe: €10
- Switzerland, UK, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden: €20
- Outside Europe: €40
Pricing
The price of the Advent Calendar is €159 (including VAT).
Please note!
When you order from outside Europe you will notice that you don’t pay VAT in the webshop. So the price for orders outside the EU is €131 (about 149USD, 212CAD, 216AUD). When your parcel crosses your border customs may charge you for import duties and VAT.
The extra gift is €25 (including VAT). This is €20 excl. VAT (about 23USD, 32CAD, 33AUD).
